What do we FOCUS ON?
Real, whole natural food. In short, this is meats, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and dairy. There is some meal planning and cooking involved, but we offer tips and tricks to save you time and money.
We learn about hormones, what metabolism really is, and how different food groups affect our hormones, metabolism, and how we feel.
We use the emerging field of Neuroplasticity to examine our thoughts, make adjustments where needed, and actually change the way we think. Don't worry... there is no hypnosis or voodoo involved.
We learn how cravings work, how to manage them without drama or white-knuckling.
We learn how to make simple changes that fit into our lives and lifestyles, without a strict, regimented food plan.
We look at causes of chronic stress and inflammation and talk through how to manage these and make ourselves more resilient to our stress-laden culture.
Who is this course
NOT FOR?
Anyone looking for a "quick-fix", lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks crash diet.
Anyone looking for weight loss drugs or procedures to make it all "easy". Those have complications all their own, and the results are temporary. We want change that lasts.
Keyboard Warriors or Trolls.
We don't do mean. If you get your jollies from battering people online, this is not the place for you.

Very basic. We take complex ideas like how hormones and the brain work, and make them simple and easy to follow. That being said, some reading and basic science knowledge is helpful. If you have questions or don't understand something, Melissa is always around to help.

The next class is open now and will close when it reaches capacity of no more than 50 class members. You'll have immediate access to your material and group. You will receive your planner in the mail within a week.
You will have access to the program for at least 6 months. It's a 3-month program, so you'll have plenty of time to go through the material at least once. At this time, there are no plans to limit or cancel your access, but we reserve the right to close groups as they become less-frequently accessed.
We may also be including an alumni group in the future. More to come as those courses take shape.

Probably. But it'll take you many more hours and much more frustration. Further, unless you have a very strong science background, it will be difficult to sort the factual information from a bunch of bunk. And I do mean a BUNCH.
Things like drinking alkaline water. Give that a good search.
And it's BUNK.

A little kitchen knowledge is helpful. But we're not asking you to be a gourmet goddess. If you can brown ground beef or grill a piece of chicken, you're good to go. I can point you in the direction of some great tutorials to help build your confidence in the kitchen.
There are also some online meal kit programs that will deliver meal ingredients and recipes ready-to-cook to your doorstep. Some of these are Rhize-compliant. They do tend to be pricey if you're cooking for more than one or two people, but those are good options for a single person or a couple who have limited time to meal plan, grocery shop, and cook.

YES!!!! As a matter of fact, you have more to gain than the Average Jane.
There is a lot of evidence that a whole-foods diet low in processed food can improve symptoms of metabolic disease and even help decrease reliance on medications for some people.
That being said, there is no promise or guarantee that joining Rhize Journey or the Rhize Roots Program will treat or cure any diagnosis.
